⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We had an amazing time at Riley’s Fish & Steak in Vancouver and we came specifically to try their Dine Out Vancouver menu ($65 CAD) It was a fantastic experience. For appetizers, we ordered the scallop and tuna crudo, and both were incredibly fresh, well-balanced, and beautifully presented. For mains, we had the striploin and the lobster pot pie, and the flavors were rich, comforting, and perfectly cooked. Portions were generous without feeling overwhelming. Dessert was the perfect way to end the meal: the pineapple upside cake and the Maple Bourbon Pecan “Bar” were both delicious, indulgent, and not overly sweet. It was the best part of the night. Special shoutout to our amazing server Mickey — he provided excellent service throughout the night! He checked in on us from time to time to see how we were enjoying the food, and we even had some friendly chats along the way, which made the experience feel very warm and personal. Overall, it was a fantastic dining experience. The Glowbal Restaurant Group continues to impress us with both service and food quality (we’ve previously tried Coast and loved it as well.) Highly recommend Riley’s, and we’re definitely looking forward to trying more restaurants from the group in the near future!

Fantastic! Service was amazing --Simon at the bar made me a cocktail I won't soon forget. Fahmi, the manager, was tremendously gracious and we spent a lovely few minutes chatting. Food - the Coq au Vin was actually better than the same dish I ate in Paris last Thanksgiving. I'm not kidding, it's world class. Highly recommended. Topped off with the basque cheesecake for dessert. Heaven. Overall - people could learn a lot from Simon, Fahmi and the kitchen staff / chef. This place makes you feel every dollar was worth it. I'm looking at you Fallow in London - come take lessons.

Today I had lunch with friends in a group of 4. Service is perfect with warm welcoming at the front reception. We ordered two of today’s special burger. HamBurger is a bit overcooked and little burned. Better to order additional toppings of extra $5 otherwise the whole thing would be so dry. Next was mussels with tomato cream sauce. Maybe it is not the right season so it tasted not as good as it was last September. My friend ordered carbonara it was good but a little salty. The IFA beer tastes very good. I like it very much personally.

I’ve been to Riley’s Steak & Fish multiple times and honestly can’t believe it took me this long to write a review. I was there for the grand opening and have continued to return ever since. The brioche bread with whipped butter and lobster oil appetizer is hands-down the best thing on the menu ,I order it every single visit and it never disappoints. The drinks are always beautifully presented and expertly made, and the service is consistently warm and welcoming from the moment you walk in. The restaurant itself is always spotless, stylish, and has a great atmosphere. The food has been impeccable every time. It’s a fantastic spot for a date night or a girls’ night out. If you’re looking for an upscale dining experience with consistently great food, service, and atmosphere, Riley’s is absolutely worth adding to your list.

We had such a wonderful private dinner at this restaurant! Overall, everything was excellent from start to finish. The food was absolutely delicious — the mushroom soup was especially memorable and definitely a standout for me. The set menu was very affordable, yet the quality and taste of the dishes were exceptional. I also really appreciated the option to add décor to the booking. The add-on setup was a beautiful touch and made the event feel even more special. I love that they offer this option, especially for bigger celebrations like weddings. The staff were incredibly attentive and friendly, making sure all of our guests were well taken care of throughout the evening. A special thank you to Lisa and Cindy for their outstanding service. They truly went above and beyond to ensure everything ran smoothly. With its delicious and affordable food, excellent service, and lovely ambiance, this is definitely a place I would love to celebrate more events at in the future. Highly recommended!

Came here for Dine Out Vancouver. The comments below just refer to that and may not be reflective of the regular menu. Made reservations on a Wednesday night at 6:30. Overall the food is good with the service spot on and very attentive (especially the servers bringing the food out). The dining are is large and it was full so it was noisy. There was a mixture of DOV tables and the "after work corporate" crowd. There were 4 of us so we split the menu to sample. The appetizers are probably the highlight of the menu. Both dishes were very large and flavourful. The scallops Rockefeller had loads of scallop with a nice spinach and cream filling and crispy bread crumbs on top. It was nice and hot when it arrived. The tuna crudo was very fresh, fish was nice and light and the Yuzu sauce accented it very well. We ordered 2 lobster pot pies and 2 strip loins. The pot pie was large, flaky pie shell, and tasted like lobster from the stock. The steaks were a good size, very tender and well seasoned. However, this is where the "constructive comments" come in. Overall, felt a bit nickel and dimed (or in this case $10-$15 dollared). We were told by the server that there were no veggies, just a couple of carrots, with the steaks so should order some sides from the regular menu. We got 3 [expensive] sides. When the steaks arrived there were a few carrot pieces as well as some swiss chard underneath (both which were well prepared). The side dishes weren't that large either, but they were well cooked. So either the servers should be a little more forthright in the descriptions or better yet, the DOV options should have a little more sides (just a few more veggies and perhaps a dallop of mashed potatoes). Both steaks were ordered medium rare, but when they came out one was more rare and the other was more medium - definitely noticeable even in the dim light. Aside from the doneness they were tender so they were devoured as cooked. The "lobster" pot pie was very good. However, about 3/4 of the filling were in fact prawns and not lobster pieces. In the whole serving there may have been about 3 or 4 small lobster pieces and about 6 good size prawns. This is totally misleading given the DOV menu doesn't state that it's a seafood pot pie. And definitely no vegetables in the filling (maybe they used that for the side dishes). The filling had good full lobster flavour, I even got a small chuck of shell in my serving to indicate that. I'd give the mains a 3.5 rating, not on flavour but on the execution. The desserts were very good. Sweet, deep flavours. The gelato and whipped cream nicely offsetting the very sweet pecan bar and cake. 4.5/5.

Riley’s is one of my favourite dining experiences in the city! From my first visit 2 years ago when I arrived bedraggled off a long haul flight to find the service warm and inviting with delightful food to today when I took part in their 2026 Dine Out menu. From the minute you walk in the door you are made to feel like a deeply cared for guest. The food is amazing, always perfectly cooked and the service is even better. Today our server, Mickey, made sure everything was perfect for an end of the week meal for two colleagues and friends. He was attentive, kind and accommodating for our likes, dislikes and needs. Another server in the dining room made sure our bags never touched the floor and our water glasses were always full. Typically I always want to try new places and new menus but I always come back to Riley’s. There is a little magic in the air there.

If my out of town friends or family ever wanted a restaurant recommendation that radiates the spirit of Vancouver, Riley's Fish and Steak is it! A beautiful restaurant inside and out. We came with friends to try their $65 Dine Out Vancouver menu with a $30 wine pairing. Each of the dishes in this menu were well executed with good ingredients, tasted flavourful, and matched well with the recommended wine pairings. It was a busy Friday night and we could see many of the restaurant staff moving swiftly with a smile. We could also see and hear the many patrons in our dining area having a good time. We appreciated our server Luis and his efforts and kind demeanor. And we also appreciated the restaurant manager Tim for his cordial words. We have been to all the other fine restaurants in the Glowbal Restaurant Group. We look forward to trying Riley's "à la carte" menu with friends in the near future.
